Dress Care Guide
To help maintain the beauty, shape, and longevity of your garments, please follow the care instructions below.
1. Read the Care Label
Always check the care label inside your garment before washing. Different fabrics may require specific care methods.
2. Washing Instructions
- Wash garments in cold or lukewarm water (30°C or below).
- Use a gentle cycle for delicate fabrics.
- Separate light and dark colors before washing.
- Use mild detergent and avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.
- Turn printed or embellished dresses inside out before washing.
3. Hand Washing
For delicate fabrics such as lace, chiffon, satin, or garments with embellishments, hand washing is recommended. Gently wash without scrubbing or wringing.
4. Drying
- Air dry whenever possible.
- Hang dresses on a padded hanger to maintain their shape.
- Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods, as it may cause fading.
- Do not tumble dry delicate fabrics unless the care label specifically allows it.
5. Ironing & Steaming
- Use a low heat setting for delicate fabrics.
- Steam garments when possible to remove wrinkles safely.
- Place a cloth between the iron and the fabric to prevent damage.
- Avoid ironing directly on prints, embroidery, sequins, or embellishments.
6. Storage
- Store garments in a cool, dry place.
- Use quality hangers to preserve the garment's shape.
- Fold knitwear instead of hanging to prevent stretching.
- Keep garments away from excessive humidity and direct sunlight.
7. Stain Removal
Treat stains as soon as possible. Gently blot the affected area and use a fabric-appropriate stain remover. Avoid rubbing, as this may spread the stain or damage the fabric.
8. Special Care Fabrics
- Lace: Hand wash and air dry.
- Satin: Wash gently and avoid high heat.
- Velvet: Steam lightly and avoid crushing the fabric.
- Knitwear: Fold for storage and wash on a delicate cycle.
- Printed Dresses: Wash inside out to help preserve colors and prints.
